Ai show scena 2010

Ingrid Bergström-Kendrick

Merchandising graduates. SCENA pays homage to the Bohemians of the old world by communicating their beliefs through fashion that is relevant today. This eclectic yet focused collaboration of design interprets the misunderstood creativity and emotions of alternative societies. Defining themselves as Urban Bohemians, the designers express themselves through a juxtaposition of the raw and finished and the rough and polished. This three-act show is set in the backstage and after-hours of an old theater. A tribute to the energy and effort that drives the execution of any creative idea, it shows fashion from behind the seams.

He's available for assignment and speaks English, and Spanish.

London

Richard based in Sussex and London is currently an amatuer photographer looking for models of all shapes ages and sizes to help him build up his portfolio. He has a full CRB check and is quite careful as to what he shoots. He wont shoot nude. He's been into photography for some time but only recently become a little more serious, buying some great kit and now just need more subjects to take photos of as he's getting a little bored of trees and sunsets.

Locks of love

My roommate Vy was tired of her long hair and needed something different but didn't want her long hair to go to waste so she decided to give her hair to Locks of love. A public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children in the United States and Canada under age 21 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis. They meet a unique need for children by using donated hair to create the highest quality hair prosthetics. Most of the children helped by Locks of Love have lost their hair due to a medical condition called alopecia areata, which has no known cause or cure. The prostheses we provide help to restore their self-esteem and their confidence, enabling them to face the world and their peers. http://www.locksoflove.org

Wiggle Sweet 16

Wiggle
started many moons ago in Windsor, Ontario and Detroit, Michigan and moved to Vancouver in 1995 along with multimedia artist collective The House of Venus. The annual showcase offers creative people of all types an escape from reality, to let go and live the fantasy. Wiggle attracts a diverse crowd that wants to see a great show including rock stars like Michael Stipe of R.E.M. and Blondie’s very own Deborah Harry. Wiggle has also boasted some of the world’s leading stars of drag royalty including The Lady Bunny of Wigstock fame, Candis Cayne (of ABC’s Dirty Sexy Money), Miss Guy of The Toilet Boys and Perfidia of Patricia Fields fame and Stranger with Candy's wigmaker.

It was one of the most entertaining shows i've been apart of in Vancity.
